This week, comedian Jerry Seinfeld found himself in an unexpected confrontation with anti-Israel demonstrators in New York City.
While riding in a limousine through midtown Manhattan, a protester in the crowd shouted, “You, Jerry Seinfeld, Free Palestine,” as the police worked to clear the area.
Seinfeld responded to the outburst with laughter, more amused by the situation than anything else.
He has faced similar shouts before—back in February, he addressed another protester advocating for Palestine, telling him he “doesn’t care about Palestine.”
A few months prior, in Sydney, Australia, he humorously tackled an anti-Israel heckler, remarking, “We have geniuses, women, gentlemen! He solved the Middle East! It’s a Jewish comedian. They do everything!”
