A shocking video has surfaced showing an Uber driver brandishing a gun at a Florida rapper, known as Bomb Ass Krissy, and her friends during a ride.
Krissy Cellless shared the disturbing footage, describing an incident where her driver became agitated after being given directions. The driver suddenly lost control, threatening the passengers in the back seat.
“Get out of the car now!” he shouted while calling 911. “You’re no longer welcome! Please leave!”
The video features the driver reacting to comments about his “crazy eyes,” and, without warning, he pulled out a firearm, targeting the passengers.
“I never expected anything like this,” Cellless told a local news station, expressing her fear that she might never return to her 4-year-old son.
“Things escalated so quickly,” she remarked, emphasizing her concern was solely about the gun.
Cellless, recounting the terrifying experience, noted that it began when she instructed the driver on which way to turn, only to be met with a hostile response.
She suspects her remarks about the driver’s eyes provoked his aggressive reaction.
Now, Cellless and her friends are planning to sue Uber, and have confirmed that the driver has been suspended pending an investigation.
Attorney Carlos Dominguez, representing the passengers, argued that the driver’s violent response was entirely disproportionate. He pointed out that while disagreements can lead to heated emotions, resorting to a firearm is unacceptable.
“This is a serious escalation,” he said, highlighting the shocking nature of the altercation.
Uber has expressed deep concern over the incident, stating they have revoked the driver’s access to the app and are actively investigating the matter.
Company policy prohibits drivers from carrying firearms, and local police are also looking into the situation.
