In Rhode Island, there are concerns that human remains may have been washed ashore. Officers reported that stones were being thrown from a beachside apartment near Taylor Swift’s property.
Police were called to the scene around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Possible human remains were discovered close to the beach in the Watch Hill area. The identity of the body remains unknown, but it was found not far from Taylor Swift’s mansion.
“It was likely only a few football fields away from Taylor Swift’s house and the Ocean House,” shared Taylor Day, a local who noticed the authorities arriving at the location.
Day expressed surprise, saying, “I would never expect that—especially at Watch Hill.”
The remains have been sent to a medical facility in Rhode Island for further examination.
While investigators are working on identifying the body, officers have indicated that there is currently no evidence of foul play.
“I definitely wouldn’t agree with that,” Day remarked. “I think it’s very suspicious to find your feet.”
A request for comments from Westerly police has not yet received a response.
