It’s been six seasons since the Los Angeles Chargers last celebrated a postseason victory.
This year, quarterback Justin Herbert aimed to change that narrative, leading the team to an 11-6 record in the regular season, which secured them a playoff berth. During their wildcard match against the Texans, things seemed promising in the first quarter.
But, sadly, they ended up losing 32-12.
“They played better than us today,” coach Jim Harbaugh said in a post-game interview.
To strengthen the team, general manager Joe Holtis made some significant moves in the offseason; he brought back fan-favorite wide receiver Mike Williams and signed Najee Harris, guard Mekhi Becton, defensive tackle Da’Shawn Hand, and cornerback Donte Jackson.
The franchise also drafted several promising players, including Omarion Hampton from UNC, Tre Harris from the University of Mississippi, and defensive lineman Jamaery Caldwell from the University of Oregon.
The release of the 2025 schedule reveals an exciting lineup for this talented team.
Home games at SoFi Stadium include matchups against the Denver Broncos on September 21, Washington Commanders on October 5, the Minnesota Vikings on October 23, and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on December 8.
Plus, the Chargers will have a chance to face the Texans again in their final regular-season game.
