Jerry Seinfeld brushes off an anti-Israel heckler while exiting a Knicks game

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld found himself at the receiving end of heckling related to his support for Israel while leaving a Knicks game. Sporting a Knicks cap, he walked through a crowd of protesters, seemingly unfazed and even laughing at their shouts.

A video shared on social media captures the moment as he approaches his car. Off-camera, a voice can be heard yelling, “F— you, Jerry Seinfeld! Free Palestine! You’re supporting the Gaza baby slaughter!”

In response, Seinfeld chuckled and shot back, “You’re the only one.” The protesters persisted, hurling insults and accusations at him about his views on Israel.

Seinfeld, a long-time supporter of Israel, has amplified his stance in light of the Hamas attacks on October 7. Shortly after, he, along with over 2,000 entertainers, signed a letter advocating for Israel. The letter highlighted the misinformation circulating on social media, particularly blaming Iran for spreading propaganda and urging others to remember the traumatic events stemming from Israel.

Despite the heckling, the comedian has also encountered supporters during his public appearances. For example, while attending a Mets game, Seinfeld was asked by a fan to send a message to his brother “watching from the Gaza border.” Seinfeld responded, looking into the camera, “Let’s go IDF!”

Earlier this year, following the outbreak of war in Gaza, Seinfeld, along with his wife, visited Israel to meet with survivors of the October attacks. He described the experience as deeply moving, even struggling for words, calling it “the most powerful experience of my life.”
