The New Orleans Saints are set to try something different in 2025.
Following a disappointing 5-12 season and the retirement of quarterback Derek Carr due to injury, new head coach Kellen Moore made a bold move by using a two-round draft pick to select 25-year-old Tyler Shaff.
As for who will take the lead during training camp—Shaff, Spencer Latler, and Jake Hayner—it’s still unclear. However, the new quarterback will have some impressive talents to work with, including standout receivers like Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Brandin Cooks.
“This is a smart, fast, and physical football team, and I know Dat Nation will be backing us proudly,” Moore expressed during his introductory press conference back in February.
