Potential Congressional Bid by Former Journalist
Hannah Trudo, a former journalist, seems to be gearing up for a run at Congress, as discussed on the “Russian” podcast. Interestingly, she’s been noted for leading what some describe as a luxurious lifestyle.
Trudo, a Democrat from New Hampshire, is exploring the idea of entering Congress. She previously worked as a senior political correspondent on Capitol Hill and has been associated with outlets like Politico and the Daily Beast.
Since returning to New Hampshire, Trudo has positioned herself as a “working-class progressive warrior.” She recently shared on Twitter, “Only a small portion of Congress personally understands the working-class experience.” It’s an interesting point, reflecting perhaps a frustration or a concern about the disconnect in representation.
Only a small portion of Congress personally understands the working-class experience. So we scratch our heads and wonder why we lose them to Republicans. We need to think differently about who we are allowed to run and climb the DEM parties. #nhpolitics
However, after stirring some interest with a conservative podcast appearance, an interview sparked discussion around Trudo’s financial situation, suggesting she may be wealthier than she appears.
A dating profile attributed to Trudo surfaced during this discussion, hinting at a lifestyle associated with a “luxury” dating site boasting members with high incomes.
It was revealed that 60% of members have verified annual incomes over 200,000 euros, while 41% claim earnings exceeding 1 million euros. Adding to the intrigue, Trudo allegedly had a high-end Ferrari for sale, according to an Instagram post that has since been removed.
Trudo addressed the accusations in a recent post, stating, “Sorry, I like fashion and Medicare for everyone! Minimum wage of $15.” It seems she is standing firm on her beliefs despite the scrutiny.
Sorry, I love fashion and Medicare all! Minimum wage of $15. You can be ashamed of me for not running … because you don’t like progressives, but you’re not a great woman.
The Daily Caller reached out for comment regarding the claims but did not receive a response before publication. Trudo has yet to formally declare her candidacy.
Meanwhile, Maura Sullivan, a Marine Corps veteran and former official from the Obama administration, has already entered the race for the Democratic primary in April. She is running to succeed New Hampshire Rep. Chris Pappas, who has announced plans to run for the Senate in 2026.
