Whitney Houston’s Estate Announces North American Tour
The estate of the iconic singer Whitney Houston has officially revealed a North American tour titled “Whitney’s Voice: Celebration of the Symphony!”
This announcement was made on Houston’s official Instagram account on Monday.
“We are thrilled to extend this experience to more cities following our sold-out shows in Chicago, Washington, DC, and New York City,” stated Star Real Estate on behalf of the late singer. Collaborating with Primary Wave Music, Houston Real Estate initiated this tour to honor the 40th anniversary of her remarkable music career.
The fall tour, called “The Voice of Whitney: A Symphonic Celebration,” will feature original and remastered recordings of Houston’s voice, presented with fresh arrangements and reinterpretations of her classic hits. According to a press release, there will also be video clips and interviews that have never been shown before, alongside some of her historic performances.
Fans can look forward to enjoying timeless songs like “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “Higher Love.”
The tour is set to commence in Cincinnati and will travel to cities including Wilmington, Thousand Oaks, and Palm Desert, concluding in Mesa, Arizona. Additional dates are anticipated for 2025 and 2026.
Pat Houston, the executor of Whitney Houston’s estate and the Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, shared her enthusiasm about the tour. “There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding this tour. People are keen on discussing and planning for international dates. Whitney performed most of her concerts abroad during her career,” she mentioned.
“The Voice of Whitney is a special concert experience, and she narrates throughout the show,” Houston added.
Whitney Houston passed away in February 2012 at the age of 48.
