Super Junior’s Leeteuk Expresses Affection for Donald Trump in LA
The frontman of the popular K-pop group Super Junior, known as Leeteuk, shared his admiration for Donald Trump during a concert in Los Angeles.
Leeteuk, whose real name is Park John Sue, took advantage of his moment on stage to enthusiastically declare his fondness for various American things. He shouted “I Love USA,” “I Love In-N-Out,” and “I Love Five Guys.” The audience chuckled a bit when he mentioned the fast-food chain, but then he upped the ante by exclaiming, “I love Trump!” Although he was not on camera at the time, there were reports suggesting he also yelled “I love Elon Musk” shortly before the clip ended.
Footage of the event has circulated widely online.
It’s hard to tell if his shout-out to the former president was meant to be humorous, but some fans of the K-pop genre expressed their displeasure about the remarks, regardless of the intent.
During the concert, other Super Junior members, including Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Ryeowook, interacted with the audience. At one moment, Leeteuk humorously called out a fan as “Mama” while listing other American favorites. According to a local report from Junan Daily, the concert was part of a larger event held by SM Entertainment to mark the 30th anniversary of the agency, featuring performances by a total of 68 artists including Aespa, Riize, and Red Velvet.
