Biden’s most recent PSA test was in 2014 amid increasing concerns about prostate cancer.

President Joe Biden hasn’t undergone a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test since 2014. This raises concerns about the extent of his cancer and why it wasn’t detected earlier.

A spokesperson confirmed to Fox News, “President Biden’s last known PSA was in 2014. Until Friday, he had never been diagnosed with prostate cancer.”

PSA tests are blood tests mainly used to identify prostate cancer. The Mayo Clinic explains that these tests evaluate the levels of prostate-specific antigens in the bloodstream.

PSA is a protein produced by both cancerous and non-cancerous prostate tissues, which is a small gland located beneath the male bladder.

In recent news, the former president’s prostate cancer has been classified with a Gleason score of 9 (grade group 5), indicating “metastasis to the bone.”
