Dog the Bounty Hunter believes the New Orleans prison escape was planned from within.

Escape from New Orleans Jail Raises Concerns

According to Duane Chapman, also known as “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” the escape of ten inmates from the Orleans Parish jail is likely an inside job. He expressed his thoughts during a segment on Fox News, suggesting that the circumstances are suspicious and warrant a thorough investigation.

The jailbreak occurred early Friday morning, and as of Tuesday evening, six inmates remain at large. Chapman questioned how ten felons could be in one cell without anyone noticing, implying that someone inside the facility must have had a role in the escape.

During a press conference, representatives from the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office hinted at the possibility of internal assistance, which aligns with Chapman’s concerns.

In a recent development, the Louisiana State Police apprehended one of the escaped inmates, Gary C. Price, but the pursuit continues for the remaining fugitives.

While sources indicated that authorities are closing in on others, the timeline for additional arrests seems uncertain. It’s suggested that some of the escapees might have left New Orleans, though it’s widely believed that most are still in the area.

Chapman speculated that the prisoners might regroup at a predetermined location a few days post-escape, but, given the ongoing investigation, it’s also possible that someone is helping to hide them.

Moreover, an employee of the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, Sterling Williams, has been arrested and charged with assisting in the escape. He reportedly claimed he was threatened by the inmates, which has raised further questions. Chapman was skeptical of this explanation, asking how so many inmates managed to possess weapons.

As authorities continue to hunt for the six escaped inmates, they have released updated photos of those previously captured. Chapman, reflecting on the situation, expressed sympathy for the inmates, suggesting that their actions would lead to even more severe consequences if caught.
