Jake Tapper’s Image-Deflating Media Tour

Reputations take a lifetime to build but can be ruined in an instant. This was evident on Tuesday as Jake Tupper’s reputation crumbled, revealing him as a reckless individual with little honor or self-awareness.

I need to clarify something. What Jake Tupper, CNN, and some other mainstream media outlets have been doing for years isn’t exactly a cover-up. It’s more like a collective effort to convince us that what we see, hear, and feel isn’t real.

Instead of acknowledging the truth, Tupper opted to dismiss and obscure those who dared to speak it.

His behavior was dishonorable. Just when you think he can’t go any lower, he finds a new way to do so, trying to portray himself as a brave journalist exposing Joe Biden’s mental decline.

Yes, the head of CNN decided to profit by pretending to be a hero who brought a scandal to light. It’s like the arsonist who reports the fire.

This arrogant individual seems to believe he’s still in control of the narrative, as though we’re still in 2006. It’s baffling that he thinks he can get away with such despicable actions. When confronted with reality, and all his lies caught up with him, he sought help from his old crisis manager, Anthony Weiner, and began talking about “humility” as if that could redeem him.

He seemed to think he could portray himself as the victim of a situation that he himself created.

This idea hit me during two interviews on Tuesday. First, Tupper made a grievous error while being interviewed by Megan Kelly, who dissected him like a skilled prosecutor—using his own responses against him even before he spoke.

It wasn’t that Tupper struggled to answer Kelly’s questions; it was the defeated look on his face that was striking.

In another segment, he faced more scrutiny, and it felt like a self-inflicted wound.

The struggles surrounding Hunter Biden’s situation didn’t escape him either.

And then there were some notable moments after the election, bringing us back to the videos that circulated.

Some headlines I found in a quick search were telling.

It’s one thing for a so-called journalist to act like a fake—there are plenty of them out there. But Tupper stands out, perpetuating a fire that he himself helped ignite, all while believing he’s a heroic figure—like a firefighter rescuing people.

One thing is clear: without acknowledgment, there can be no progress.

Admitting mistakes is crucial.

I have to admit: I was hoping for Trump’s failure, thinking I’d get a win by calling out those who misled the public about Biden’s capabilities.

Yet Tupper just continues with his antics, never owning up.

And to be clear: I misjudged Megan Kelly and owe her an apology. Honestly, I’ve never felt so wrong.
