Melania Trump Debuts Michael Kors at the Kennedy Garden for Kids’ Welcome Event

Melania Trump Welcomes Summer at the White House

First Lady Melania Trump is ushering in summer at the White House with a chic wardrobe choice straight from the New York City runway.

On Tuesday, she hosted her children in the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden for Arts and Crafts, part of the annual “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” celebration.

For the event, Mrs. Trump wore a high-waisted, floral skirt in a vibrant shade of green from Michael Kors. This particular piece debuted in the Spring/Summer 2025 collection last fall, and it’s priced at about $1,950.

She accessorized with a light white leather belt, which is part of her personal collection.

To complement the striking skirt, Mrs. Trump chose a crisp, white stretch poplin button-down shirt from Dolce & Gabbana, a favored brand among first ladies. The shirt retails for around $645.

It’s interesting to see how the First Lady balances style and functionality for such gatherings. The playful nature of the event really seems to resonate with her choice of attire.
