Walker Buehler from the Red Sox criticizes a Mets star

Red Sox Pitcher Walker Buehler Ejected During Game Against Mets

During a recent game, Boston Red Sox pitcher Walker Buehler was ejected after just three innings as the team secured a 2-0 victory over the New York Mets. Following his exit, Buehler took to social media to express his frustrations regarding Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor.

The incident unfolded when Buehler, the 30-year-old right-handed pitcher, argued a call made by home plate umpire Mike Estabrook. He had thrown what he believed to be a strike, but the umpire called it a ball, igniting Buehler’s anger.

In the midst of the tension, Lindor successfully stole second base, prompting Red Sox catcher Carlos Narvaez to abandon his position in an attempt to catch him. Buehler’s frustration was palpable, as he was heard on the broadcast venting his disbelief at the umpire’s call, saying, “It’s just below the f—ing middle. It’s f—ing middle. … f— just below you.” His passionate outburst led to an immediate ejection, which also saw Red Sox manager Alex Cora escorted from the field.

Amidst the chaos, Buehler’s remarks became a topic of conversation on social media. Clips of Lindor celebrating the ejection circulated online, with one user sarcastically remarking that the “richest part” of the ordeal was Buehler’s emotional response. Buehler himself responded on social media, adding his own insights about Lindor’s actions, expressing mixed feelings about the whole situation.

In a post-game comment, Buehler remarked, “I don’t want me there either. The sad thing is that the bullpen is full of f—ing animals. It’s a tough choice.” Meanwhile, the Red Sox continued their winning streak, having taken the first two games of the series, while the Mets struggled, having scored only 14 runs over their last eight innings.
