Stephen A. Smith could be the next Joe Biden, but definitely not Joe Rogan

Stephen A. Smith’s Presidential Aspirations?

Rumors about Stephen A. Smith potentially running for president in 2028 have been making the rounds, but a recent article from the New York Times seems to take a different perspective. The piece, titled “Stephen A. Smith is Running to Be Joe Rogan,” claims that Smith isn’t gearing up for a political campaign at all; rather, he aims to mirror Joe Rogan’s success.

Jason Whitlock, host of “Fearless” on BlazeTV, expressed his thoughts on the article, suggesting it serves to promote Smith but doesn’t accurately portray his standing. He even went so far as to imply that Smith isn’t cut out for either role, but rather that he might be a “plant.”

Whitlock expressed skepticism about the integrity of the piece, stating, “AI wrote this story,” and questioned whether it was orchestrated by figures in the media industry. He considers the portrayal of Smith rather one-sided.

Interestingly, while discussing the relationship between Smith and Rogan, Whitlock pointed out that their connection primarily stems from Rogan’s critiques of Smith, which were widely circulated. He elaborated that a report analyzing perceptions of their interactions missed mentioning Rogan’s influence entirely.

Additionally, Whitlock critiqued the media’s tendency to portray Smith in a protective light, equating it to how they approach figures like Joe Biden. “This is about selling Stephen A. Smith protection,” he remarked, indicating that Smith doesn’t genuinely aspire to be like Rogan.

There’s a sense of contradiction in how Smith’s ambitions are perceived versus his actual intentions. While some believe he’s vying for a role comparable to Rogan’s, others argue that his desire may be much less ambitious—merely navigating the media landscape.
