Former DOJ public affairs director criticizes Democrats for misleading everyone about Biden.

Xochitl Hinojosa, a former Justice Department official, urged former President Joe Biden to communicate openly about Robert Herr’s report, which had previously been dismissed as “free.” She reflected on her time in the Justice Department when the HUR Report was released, emphasizing that Biden, who was at the heart of the White House, shouldn’t be described as “a good-intentioned older man with poor memories.” Many journalists, particularly those critical of the Democrats, felt it was improper for Rob Hur to make that characterization.

An audio clip from an interview with Biden aired recently, revealing difficulties he faced with words and recalling significant details. Axios reporter Alex Thompson joined a discussion about the former president, inspired by his new book, “Original Sin: The Decline of Biden, Its Concealment, and The Disastrous Choice to Run Again.” It’s concerning to see the situation unfolding in the spring of 2024. When the HUR Report came out, some elements of Alex and Jake’s reporting referenced a timeline for fall 2023, suggesting there was some deception involved, while they seemed to be focused on their own agendas regarding the Har Report, Hinojosa commented.

Hur’s transcript indicates Biden’s memory lapses, conflicting with his statements about his son’s death

Biden’s team, including Karine Jean-Pierre and Ian Sams, along with former vice president Kamala Harris and ex-DHS secretary Mayorkas, labeled the HUR report as “free” after its release. Jean-Pierre remarked that aspects of the report didn’t align with reality, adding, “It’s unacceptable and I’m not living in reality” in response to a question about Biden’s memory during that period.

Democrats such as Locanna, Jamie Ruskin, and Daniel Goldman also dismissed the report at the time as unnecessary and without merit. The audio from the interview revealed Biden saying he kept documents on Afghanistan for “future generations.”

When questioned about classified documents regarding Afghanistan found at his lake home, Biden seemed uncertain about how they ended up there but ultimately said, “I think I wanted to stick with it for future generations.”
