The change in the Jets’ atmosphere at quarterback with Justin Fields is already clear

Rogers on “The Joe Rogan Experience”

A fresh episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” has dropped, featuring none other than former Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers. Coincidentally, the Jets were in the midst of their second OTA practice with new quarterback Justin Fields.

Watching that first media-open practice for the 2025 Jets, it’s hard not to notice the shifts at Flowham Park over the last couple of years. The team really went all out to bring Rogers on board in 2023, especially after the struggles of Zach Wilson, the second overall pick who didn’t quite pan out. From the moment Robert Saleh, Joe Douglas, Woody Johnson, and Christopher Johnson journeyed to Malibu on their recruitment mission, everything in the Jets’ world has revolved around Rogers.

Now, it seems that Aaron Rogers has made way for Aaron Grenshaw. With Grenshaw back at the helm, there’s a sense that the Jets Universe may have a different feel to it this time around. He appears to be healthy and ready to lead.

Of course, this doesn’t ensure that the latest iteration of the Jets will find more success than previous ones. Yet, there’s a perception that the team is in more capable hands after Rogers had been calling the shots for two years.
