Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend makes a pointed remark about the Knicks’ Game 1 failure.

The Knicks experienced a tough setback off the court following a disappointing loss to the Pacers on Wednesday.

After Indiana clinched a 138-135 overtime victory at Madison Square Garden, leading to them taking Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Pacers star Tyrese Halliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones, made a bold Instagram post. She captioned a photo with, “We finally got to see the ball drop in New York,” and included some grinning emojis.

Jones witnessed firsthand the Pacers’ incredible fourth-quarter comeback, during which they turned a 14-point Knicks lead into a victory, stunning the audience.

Halliburton even mimicked Reggie Miller’s famous chalk gesture at the end of regulation to the visibly shocked crowd. He later commented, “Everyone wanted to do it last year, but it has to feel right. This felt right. If I’d known it was two, I wouldn’t have done it though.”

The 25-year-old is having a stellar playoff run, averaging 18.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 9.5 assists, and he dropped 31 points along with four rebounds and 11 assists in the opening game.

Following the victory, he shared an electric moment with Jones, embracing her on the court.

Updates from Knicks’ 2025 NBA Playoffs

Jones has been in a relationship with Halliburton since their college days in Iowa and has supported him throughout his career, including watching him get selected 12th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. He was later traded to the Pacers in February 2022.

The Pacers are aiming for their first championship, having performed strongly in the postseason by defeating the Bucks in five games during the first round and top-seeded Cavaliers in the semi-finals.

Game 2 between the Knicks and Pacers is set for Friday at 8 PM, with the series moving to Indiana for Game 3 on Sunday.
