Lamar Odom Makes Appearance at Trump’s Cryptocurrency Gala
On Thursday, President Donald Trump hosted a Cryptocurrency Project event at his upscale golf course in northern Virginia. Among the attendees was former NBA star Lamar Odom.
Outside the venue, a group of protesters gathered, brandishing signs with messages like “No corrupt fools” and “Stop code corruption.”
Despite the protests, Odom remained unfazed, confidently handling the situation. He shared his thoughts on social media, remarking, “I’m just going through security and officially trying to step into the Trump Gala. Honestly… I’ve been fired. Think about it. Have you ever done this? $odom is not just a token; it’s on stage at the President’s Gala tonight! This is the most authentic soulful experience in crypto history.”
Among the demonstrators was Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR), who described the event as the “Crypto Corruption Club.” He shared his views with the New York Times, stating, “This is like Mount Everest of corruption.”
Ultimately, Odom seemed to transform the protests into content for social media, showcasing a kind of resilience that’s hard to ignore.
