Link Between College Campus Antisemitism and D.C. Murders

Congressman Critiques University Responses to Anti-Semitism

On CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” Representative Jake Ochincross (D-MA) stated that there is a “direct” link between the recent murders of two Israeli embassy staff and the anti-Semitism present at “elite” universities.

Cooper remarked, “You expressed criticism toward Harvard regarding its reaction to the protests. The Department of Homeland Security mentioned that Harvard didn’t adequately respond to inquiries about the students on visas, prompting this decision. Harvard claims the government’s actions are rooted in retaliation linked to ideology. Is that the core issue?”

Ochincross responded, “I firmly critique Harvard’s actions on October 7th. There’s a clear connection between the anti-Semitism that has been allowed to flourish at Harvard and other prestigious campuses and the kind of anti-Semitic violence I witnessed just two days ago in Washington, D.C. This environment has enabled these tragedies to happen, whether they occur at Shapiro’s home or elsewhere.”
