Chris Stapleton Postpones Tour Kickoff Due to Equipment Damage

Country music artist Chris Stapleton has delayed the first performance of his “2025 All-American Road Show Tour” due to damaged equipment.

On June 1, Stapleton took to Instagram to inform fans about the cancellation of the show planned for June in Greenville, South Carolina. He shared that “critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville.” As a result, he noted, “Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show.”

Details regarding how the damage occurred were not provided.

Stapleton’s announcement continued, stating, “The Greenville show is rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date.” He also offered guidance for fans impacted by this change.

“For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase. Refund requests through Ticketmaster must be submitted by Tuesday, June 24. The All-American Road Show will now start in Charlottesville on Friday, June 6,” he added.

Closing his message, he expressed gratitude: “Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to seeing you on July 9.”

The “2025 All-American Road Show” tour will feature several stops throughout the summer and into fall, including back-to-back nights in Grand Rapids, Michigan, New York City, and Denver, Colorado, among others.

In reaction, many fans took to social media to express their frustrations, particularly those who had traveled for the concert and could not attend the rescheduled date. Some shared that the tickets were for special occasions, while others criticized Stapleton for not having backup equipment or for not trying to perform with alternative setups.
