Recent details have emerged regarding the unexpected death of Pamela Bach Hasselhoff. A report from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner indicates that she suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 5th.
The findings also revealed the presence of clonazepam and 7-aminooclonazepam in her system at the time of her death, substances typically used to treat panic disorders, according to Mayo Clinic.
Bach Hasselhoff’s final messages were revealed in the medical report. On that morning around 7:45 AM, she made a call to her daughter, expressing her love. After that, her daughter attempted to contact Pamela throughout the day but received no replies. Concerned, she went to check on her mother and found her unresponsive.
The report mentioned that Pamela had voiced suicidal thoughts the previous year, though it was noted that she hadn’t made any attempts. She was described as experiencing depression, although the report did not disclose her daughter’s name.
Pamela and David Hasselhoff, her ex-husband, initially met while working on “Knight Rider” and got married in 1989. They had two daughters, Taylor and Haley, but divorced in 2006.
David expressed his sorrow on social media after Pamela’s passing, acknowledging the outpouring of love and support but requesting privacy for their family during this time of grief.
Pamela appeared alongside David in ten seasons of “Baywatch” and also had roles in “The Young and the Restless” and “The Fall Guy.” Her last post on Instagram highlighted her gratitude for her family, specifically her grandson London.
In light of her struggles, Pamela filed for divorce from David, citing irreconcilable differences, which was finalized in 2006, granting them joint custody of their daughters.
She leaves behind a legacy in the entertainment world, having often been open about her love for her family even during challenging times.
