17-year-old TikTok sensation Sana Yousaf killed at her home by a man she turned down multiple times.

A TikTok star has been tragically shot and killed in what police are calling a “terrifying” murder.

Sana Yousaf, who had just celebrated her 17th birthday last week, was attacked in her Islamabad home by intruders who had been in contact with her online prior to the incident on Monday night.

According to police, the suspect gained entry into Yousaf’s house after lingering outside. He fired multiple shots, hitting her directly twice, which resulted in her immediate death.

After taking her phone, the assailant fled the scene. Authorities later apprehended a 22-year-old man linked to the murder and recovered both the weapon and Yousaf’s phone.

Police chief Saeed Ali Nasir Rizvi stated that her death came after the suspect had made multiple attempts to contact her. He described the killing as “horrifying” and “cold-blooded.”

The incident has raised significant alarm across the country, prompting law enforcement to feel immense pressure to solve the case.

Yousaf’s father expressed his grief, sharing that she was his only child and described her as “very brave.” He noted that she had never mentioned the suspect or any threat prior to this tragedy.

Interestingly, Yousaf’s aunt was reportedly home when the intruder broke in. He allegedly threatened to shoot her before escaping.

Yousaf was later laid to rest in Chitral, around 250 miles from the capital.

She had gained fame on social media by advocating for women’s rights in Pakistan, amassing around 1.5 million followers on TikTok through her engaging videos.

Shortly after her murder, a scheduled video post surfaced showing her celebrating her 17th birthday, where she was seen sharing moments with friends and enjoying pizza before cutting her cake.
