White House Celebrates Immigration Enforcement Week
Following the significant return of illegal gang member Kilmer Abrego Garcia, the White House is marking what it calls a successful week for President Trump’s immigration policies. A spokesperson noted, “It’s a bad day to be an illegal alien and a great day to be an American.” This statement encapsulates the administration’s assertive stance on immigration enforcement.
Arrests by ICE surged recently after “Operation Patriots,” which was a large-scale enforcement effort in Massachusetts that led to almost 1,500 arrests. On just Tuesday and Wednesday, more than 4,500 individuals were encountered.
Trump’s Border Wall Plans Press On: “The Crisis Is Not Over Yet”
Since Trump took office, ICE has apprehended over 100,000 undocumented immigrants. Just this past weekend, officials in South Carolina targeted what they described as a “cartel afterparty,” resulting in the arrest of 80 foreign nationals, including two prominent members of the Los Zetas cartel and the Venezuelan gang, Tren de Araga.
Additionally, one of those detained was a Honduran national implicated in an international murder case. Reports indicate that deportation flights have significantly increased during the Trump administration. This week, ICE announced the deportation of 142 individuals, including those involved in heinous crimes such as child exploitation and human trafficking.
Last Monday, ICE collaborated with Customs and Border Security to seize a substantial shipment of chemicals meant for the Sinaloa cartel. Chad Plant, a special agent with ICE, emphasized that this partnership disrupts the flow of substances crucial for illegal drug production.

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson highlighted the week as a notable success for Trump’s immigration strategy. “The president is doing what he promised—securing the southern border and deporting illegal immigrants,” she stated. She also claimed that previous efforts have effectively reduced the flow of fentanyl across U.S. borders and asserted, “It’s a bad day to be an illegal alien and a great day to be an American.”
