Meghan Markle Remains Positive

Meghan Markle is feeling quite optimistic. In a recent Instagram post, she expressed that she is “very excited about what’s coming,” despite the backlash from her recent “Cringe” dance video alongside Prince Harry.

The post featured a photo of Markle in a casual white sleeveless maxi dress, joyfully running through the ocean waves.

The caption playfully remarked, “Run over the weekend like 🌊.”

This message follows the criticism she faced after sharing a 2021 video where she and Harry awkwardly danced as they anticipated their daughter, Princess Lilibet’s birth.

In that clip, the 43-year-old former “Suits” actress was seen dancing to a popular “Baby Mama Dance Song,” cradling her pregnant belly in the hospital. Harry, 40, joined in, singing along to “Drop down, drop down low and down.” The couple, married in 2018, seemed to enjoy themselves throughout the video.

However, the couple encountered negative comments regarding what some followers described as an “unfriendly” clip. One user on X stated, “Stop it. #cringe,” while another called the video “fake and frizzy.” Yet another commenter noted that their attempts to appear “friendly” felt oddly disconnected.

While facing some criticism, the couple also celebrated their daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday with a fun family trip to Disneyland. Markle shared several photos from their adventure at Disney’s California Adventure, though she chose to keep some moments private by covering the faces of her children, 6-year-old Archie and 4-year-old Lili, with hearts.

The family enjoyed the celebration, which included meeting Queen Elsa, indulging in a small mermaid cake, and participating in a bit of shopping for Mickey and Minnie Mouse merchandise.
