Scott Jennings Contributes From Overseas to Warn Democrats He Forewarned Them About Left-Wing Violence

Political Violence and Protests in Los Angeles

Scott Jennings, a Republican strategist, shared his thoughts on the ongoing riots in Los Angeles while on a trip to Israel. He expressed his discomfort with what he sees as an increase in left-wing violence.

On Monday, President Donald Trump ordered 700 Marines to support federalized California State Guard troops as the riots entered their fifth day following an ICE operation at a Home Depot in the Los Angeles area. Jennings participated in an interview with former political reporter Tara Palmeli, where their discussion centered around political violence.

“Before the riots last week, I mentioned that the left has a tendency toward violence,” Jennings said in a video posted on social media. “Seeing news from abroad makes me uneasy about being right.”

Last week, before the riots, I warned that the left had violence in my mind right now. Looking at news from overseas, I feel bad about being proven right. What we’re seeing in California is just a preview of the future if we don’t address the left…

He also included footage from the Los Angeles unrest in the interview. The FBI recently identified an individual named Elpido Reyna, who was recorded throwing rocks at a vehicle containing federal agents.

During the interview, Jennings voiced concerns regarding the potential for escalating violence from the political left. “The left has issues with violence,” he said. “It’s something that weighs on my mind.”

Now happening: LAPDs line the streets. Multiple groups still appear to be active.

The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Reyna’s arrest for assaulting a federal officer and damaging property. Fox News reporter Bill Melguin provided an account from one of the vehicles that came under attack during the unrest. He shared videos showing significant damage to a federal vehicle after it was hit by rocks, along with images of injuries sustained by a federal law enforcement officer during the incident.
