Nancy Pelosi receives harsh criticism for claiming that the 'exuberance of the moment' caused the LA riots.

California Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi has faced mockery over her comments regarding the violent riots in Los Angeles related to immigration enforcement efforts.

Pelosi criticized President Donald Trump’s remarks about the violence, suggesting that he attributed it to “anarchists,” which she found to be an odd justification for the chaos.

‘You should always be cautious, whether we’re talking about burned cars, broken windows, or whatever else,’ she remarked to reporters on Tuesday. ‘I’m saying this as a former party chair. When large groups gather, it attracts anarchists who see it as an opportunity to disrupt.’

She mentioned, “It might just be a frenzy in the moment, or it could be orchestrated by anarchists. I heard one of the former police chiefs from Los Angeles discuss this on Sunday,” she added.

In addition, she criticized the media for not holding Trump accountable enough for her liking.

Pelosi’s remarks have sparked widespread social media commentary. Critics responded by labeling her comments as irresponsible, with some ridiculing them outright.

“This was a pretty psychotic rant. I wonder how many martinis were involved?” commented Kyle Becker.

“According to Pelosi, setting cars ablaze is a form of vibrancy. Caution, Nancy, you’re sounding like an anarchist yourself,” said another critic.

A user quipped, “Sure, when I’m feeling excited, I always break a few windows and burn some cars. That’s totally normal,” further highlighting the absurdity perceived in her statements.

Another commentator pointed out the seriousness of the situation, saying, “Tell that to the small business owner who’s suffered from looting, or to those who lost their vehicles and property.”

The California GOP echoed the sentiments related to Pelosi’s comments, with one tweet suggesting it was time to restore order.

As the week progressed, protests that began in Los Angeles began to spread nationwide, often accompanied by violence and vandalism. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass indicated that while the situation had somewhat eased, Trump was to blame for unnecessary escalation.
