Brad Pitt acknowledges his errors following the completion of his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

Brad Pitt recently reflected on the mistakes he and Angelina Jolie made in their lives following their contentious divorce.

Diving into the complexities of personal life during a conversation with “Entertainment Tonight” after the “F1” premiere in Mexico City, the “Fight Club” star emphasized the importance of learning from one’s errors. “No matter what your mistakes, you know, you just learn from them and move on,” he mentioned, expressing a sense of being grounded.

At 61, Pitt also commented on the significance of surrounding oneself with loved ones. “How important is it to be around those you know and love?” he mused. He concluded that building connections with friends and family is vital, saying, “From there, we can go and make things. I think it’s very simple, it’s an equation.”

His remarks came just two weeks after he broke his silence regarding the end of his relationship with Jolie, which lasted for eight years. When GQ inquired if finalizing the legal aspects of their separation felt like a relief, Pitt responded, “No, I don’t think that’s that major.” He described the situation as just a legal process that took place.

They concluded their divorce in December 2024, more than eight years after Jolie first filed in September 2016. Throughout this time, Jolie focused on healing and finding peace for her family, while facing the exhaustion of a lengthy process.

Pitt and Jolie share six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiro, and twins Knox and Vivianne. However, it’s noted that some of the children have distanced themselves from Pitt, with a few even choosing to drop his last name. Additionally, Jolie’s legal team has submitted documents stating that she has waived any spousal support from Pitt indefinitely.
