Israel’s Major Strike on Iran: An Ambitious Operation

Israel executed a significant airstrike against Iran early Friday morning, marking one of the most ambitious military campaigns in recent history. This operation stemmed from years of covert planning and extensive intelligence work by Israeli agencies.

Dozens of fighter jets targeted both nuclear and military sites across Iran, with these strategies having been meticulously laid out by Israeli forces and Mossad agents beforehand. Dubbed “Am Kelavi” or “Lion Lion,” the operation represented an unprecedented collaboration among various branches, including the Air Force, Military Intelligence, Mossad, and the country’s defense industry.

“By targeting their initial moves—ballistic missiles ready for launch and operational drones—we achieved significant success,” Deflin noted, highlighting that the losses included crucial scientists.

Moreover, Israeli sources disclosed that alongside airstrikes, extensive intelligence operations were underway within Iran, with one former official calling the efforts a remarkable feat of intelligence work.

It was revealed that Iranian Air Force commanders were concentrated in one facility during a planned drill, exposing them to Israeli forces at a critical moment. The official remarked that this operation was both a stroke of luck and a product of meticulous planning.

Analysts suggested that these actions had far-reaching implications, with operations described as possessing greater strategic significance compared to past endeavors. Nadav Eyal, an analyst, commented that the intelligence gathered was invaluable for orchestrating impactful strikes on military infrastructure over time.

The Mossad’s efforts included smuggling advanced weaponry into Iran and disguising vehicles near key installations. The success of this mission is being regarded as one of the most effective uses of intelligence integration in Israeli history.
