Supporters of U.S. Engagement in Israel-Iran Conflict Are 'Disgusting,' 'Not Prioritizing America'

Marjorie Taylor Greene Voices Concerns Over U.S. Involvement in Israeli-Iran War

In a passionate statement on social media, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) expressed her discontent regarding U.S. involvement in the conflict between Israel and Iran. She described the situation as escalating, cautioning against America diving into yet another foreign war.

“Everyone is finding out who truly holds the America First values versus those who are just pretending,” Greene stated, adding that those who have pushed the U.S. into this conflict cannot claim to be aligned with those values. She emphasized her aversion to violence against innocent people, asserting, “We’re fatigued by foreign wars.”

According to a report, recent strikes have reportedly resulted in at least 14 deaths in Israel over the weekend, while Iranian officials claimed 224 individuals have lost their lives since the onset of the attacks. The majority of these casualties are reported to be civilians, with many more injured.

Greene maintained that the ongoing war is driven by wider geopolitical interests involving the Middle East, BRICS nations, and NATO. She indicated that true supporters of America First aim for worldwide peace and want to avoid unnecessary loss among military personnel and civilians alike.

Reflecting on previous U.S. military ventures in the region, Greene lamented the emotional and economic toll they have taken on the country. “We’ve poured trillions into the Middle East with lifestyle-altering consequences,” she remarked. “It’s time to prioritize our own issues, as we’re overwhelmed by our national debt and domestic challenges.”

Notably, Greene asserted that her stance doesn’t equate to anti-Semitism, framing it instead as rational discourse for the welfare of all. She also differentiated her position from isolationism, advocating for a path toward economic and trade prosperity that aligns with many Americans’ priorities.

In a follow-up, Greene further highlighted ongoing fears regarding Iran’s nuclear capabilities, questioning the predictions surrounding their nuclear progress over the years. She expressed skepticism over claims that Iran is “just days away” from developing a nuclear bomb, emphasizing the necessity of thoughtful dialogue around the implications of U.S. involvement that could lead to further loss of life.
