Caller Becomes Upset After Journalist Refers to Trump as 'The President' on 'The Breakfast Club'

Caller Upset Over Trump’s Title on Radio Show

A caller on “The Breakfast Club” expressed frustration Tuesday after journalist Morguin Wood consistently referred to President Donald Trump as “President.” During the “Front Page News” segment, Wood used the title multiple times. Following this, during the “Get It Off Your Chest” segment, a female caller, seemingly confusing Wood’s comments with those of co-host Jess Helaris, became annoyed and was ultimately asked to hang up.

“I’ve got a serious problem. Jess keeps calling the orange guy Donald Trump ‘President’,” the caller stated. “Everyone else on the news channel just says ‘Donald Trump.’ Are you proud of him?”

Jess responded, “Listen, he’s the president of America. Are you okay?” The caller insisted that Trump wasn’t actually the president.

“He’s right. I don’t know who he is. What do you think he is?” the caller continued, referring to the former president. “It’s not about supporting him.”

Jess countered, “That’s not it. He keeps saying he stole the election,” to which the caller replied, implying that the hosts were being ignorant.

Jess remarked that the caller seemed “reluctant to face reality.” “He’s the president. Have a good day, girl. Don’t worry about what I call him. He’s the president of the United States. You just have to deal with it. I don’t like it either, but I’m not escaping from the truth that Donald Trump is our president. That’s just how it is.”

Afterward, co-host DJ Envy mentioned that the caller had hung up.

Trump had previously defeated former Vice President Kamala Harris in the election, securing popular votes across multiple states. Harris acknowledged the outcome and encouraged her supporters to accept the results.

The president took the oath of office as the 47th president on January 20 and declared a new “golden age” for America during his inaugural speech in the Capitol Rotunda.
