Vice President JD Vance was promptly suspended and then reinstated on a left-leaning platform.

JD Vance: I Knew This Was Going to Happen

Vice President JD Vance has expressed his discontent over the current administration’s efforts to tighten immigration control. He’s also noted the response regarding Doge and the “Big, Beautiful” bill during a recent “special report.”

On Wednesday evening, Vance was briefly halted from accessing the social media platform Bluesky, which has quickly become popular among those looking to escape Liberal X. His account was restored shortly after the initial suspension.

In an email, Bluesky confirmed to Fox News Digital, “We welcome the Vice President for discussions at Bluesky,” explaining that Vance’s account, JD-Vance-1.BSKY.Social, had been flagged by an automated system but was reinstated within 20 minutes. They also mentioned adding a verified badge to enhance user trust in his profile.

Bluesky, which resembles X in structure, has attracted many liberal users following the changes implemented by Elon Musk upon his acquisition of X. Despite this liberal leaning, Vance joined the platform and made his first post around 4:50 PM on Wednesday.

In his inaugural post, he addressed the audience, saying, “Hello, Bruski. I was told this app has become a place for sensible political conversation.”

In that post, he shared a screenshot from Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s opinion related to the case US vs. Skrmetti. Thomas raised concerns regarding Tennessee’s law on treating gender-related discomfort in children, noting the lack of medical consensus and the influence of ideology on healthcare practices.

Vance remarked, “Justice Thomas’ comments on healthcare for transgender youth are quite revealing. Many so-called ‘experts’ use flawed arguments and questionable scientific evidence to advocate for experimental treatments in youngsters.” Ironically, his account faced immediate suspension post this statement, although it was quickly restored.

This event stirred reactions within conservative circles on X. One popular conservative user noted, “BlueSky banned VP JD Vance just 20 minutes after he joined. Clearly, their liberals are triggered.” Another political commentator echoed frustration, noting the rapid suspension.

Critics of Vance also weighed in, with one liberal journalist stating, “I can’t stand JD Vance, but suspending a sitting Vice President is a sign that Bluesky won’t thrive.”

The commentary underscores a broader concern about open dialogue in political discussions, especially as Vance, who aspires for higher office, finds himself both critiqued and supported across different platforms.
