Influencer Found Dead After Disturbing Social Media Post
A social media influencer was discovered dead at home following a troubling message she posted online seeking help.
Zaria Cadilla Kerr, 27, was found deceased in her Twin City, Georgia residence, located approximately 80 miles northwest of Savannah, around 9:30 PM on Saturday, as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Just a few hours earlier, Zaria had shared a desperate message with her 35,000 followers on Facebook, reaching out for assistance. This was noted in reports by various sources.
In her final post on Saturday around 6 PM, she expressed, “I really don’t know what to do… But I need help before I lose my life or freedom! My children need me!”
Her husband, Shamarcus Jameer Kerr, a dog breeder known for his French Online Facebook presence, was missing when the police arrived, along with Zaria’s 2021 Dodge Challenger.
The car was eventually found about 80 miles south in Wayne County shortly before 11 PM. However, when deputies attempted to pull the vehicle over, Shamarcus shot himself before being taken into custody.
He was taken to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later on.
Sources indicated that Shamarcus is associated with the French Facebook account and shared various posts, including images related to his life and business. His relationship with Zaria was confirmed by multiple individuals.
The circumstances around Zaria’s death remain unclear. Authorities have stated that both investigations into their deaths are ongoing and considered “active and continuous.”
