Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift shared a surprise date night at a popular Italian restaurant in New York City on Friday. Their departure caught the attention of fans who were waiting nearby.
The couple was seen leaving Torisi, located in a historic building on Mulberry Street in Little Italy.
Kelce opted for a casual look, sporting white shorts, white sneakers, and a short-sleeve shirt with a blue collar that featured “US Soccer.”
Swift matched the vibe with a light blue mini shoulder bag, a white pleated mini skirt, and pointy white stilettos.
It appeared they were enjoying quality time together, especially after Kelce had wrapped up a three-day mini-camp with the Chiefs, aiming to bounce back from their Super Bowl loss to the Eagles.
As they left the restaurant, they shared a brief conversation before Kelce helped Swift into their car, holding her hand in the process.
While Kelce and Swift had kept a low profile in recent months, they’ve made a few appearances, including last Thursday when they watched the thrilling Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, where the Oilers defeated the Panthers 5-4.
Kelce also attended the Cannes Film Festival with his brother Jason this week as part of a panel for Amazonport.
Despite some rumors about retirement following the Super Bowl loss, Kelce has decided to return to Kansas City.
He mentioned to reporters that coming back wasn’t a tough choice for him. “I love football. It wasn’t a hard decision. I value my friends, family, and teammates,” the 35-year-old shared. “Sure, I know I’m getting older, but I feel like there’s still so much I can prove in this league.”
