A recent explanation from Adam Swart, the CEO and founder of Crowds On Demand, shed light on public perceptions concerning paid agitators after the recent left-wing anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles. He told Fox News that there’s a distinct difference between his organization and others that hire protesters. He noted that those other groups often pay individuals to simply be on standby, as reported on Saturday.
Swart emphasized, “You really shouldn’t judge the wider protests based on the actions of a few agitators. There are undoubtedly groups that latch onto any cause, using it as a cover for their own violent and looting agendas.” He further remarked that while these individuals are not genuinely invested in the movements, their chaotic behavior shouldn’t overshadow the efforts of peaceful demonstrators.
His statements come in response to inquiries about the motivations behind the anti-ICE riots that ignited during a crackdown on illegal immigration on June 6. He also noted that while his company receives requests for anti-ICE protests, they have declined several offers to participate, wanting to steer clear of illegal activities.
In a recent talk with One America News, Swart clarified that his firm had no connections to the riots, deeming the events more akin to a guerrilla war than legitimate protest. According to the Crowds On Demand website, the firm describes itself as “Your home for impactful advocacy campaigns, demonstrations, PR stunts, crowds for employment, corporate events. Services available nationwide.”
In response to the riots, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) announced an investigation into the financial backers of these protests. He reached out to Angelica Salas, the executive director of a union focused on immigrant rights, to inquire about the funding and structure of the more organized elements behind these protests.
Shortly thereafter, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) called for left-wing billionaire George Soros to speak before Congress, referencing his alleged involvement in funding protests that aim to promote globalist policies and destabilize American democracy.
