Influencer Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini passes away at 31 following a failed surgery shortly after celebrating with her doctor.

A popular influencer tragically passed away due to cardiac arrest shortly after undergoing plastic surgery in Türkiye, just hours after celebrating with her surgeon.

Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini, who was 31, traveled from Mozambique to Istanbul with her husband, Elgar Miles, last Friday, to have multiple cosmetic procedures.

It appears that she had arranged to undergo breast augmentation, liposuction, and rhinoplasty in exchange for promoting TUSA hospitals in Istanbul on her social media, as reported by local news outlet O Tempo.

“She was eager to make these changes for her own aesthetic goals. It was something she really wanted,” Miles mentioned to the outlet.

The couple, who recently got married, had requested to postpone their surgery, originally set for Wednesday, to allow for a longer recovery period. However, Miles stated that scheduling conflicts led the surgeon to move the operation up to Sunday.

They visited the clinic that Sunday merely to check the facility, but Miles claims the doctor pressed to proceed with the surgery without fully preparing Buldrini.

After a night out with the doctor prior, Miles says his wife seemed to be convinced to go through with the surgery just hours later.

The medical team assured them that everything was fine, Miles told a local news source.

With a following of 797,000 on Instagram, Buldrini, known for sharing singing videos, underwent the procedures and was discharged from the operating room by 11 PM that Sunday.

Miles mentioned receiving a picture of his wife in recovery and was informed she was still under anesthesia.

“I was told to wait in my room, but the assistant acted oddly. I waited for over an hour before I was able to see her,” he recalled.

A few hours later, the shocking news came from the doctor—she had died.

“I went downstairs, and one doctor said her heart was beating slowly, but another told me she was already gone,” he replied.

The doctor from the hospital was reportedly detailed by authorities but was later released.

TUSA Hospital has denied any wrongdoing, claiming staff attempted to revive Buldrini after the procedure.

“Despite all efforts from our anesthesiology team, the patient could not be resuscitated,” the facility stated, according to Turkish media.

They also mentioned that they are cooperating with the authorities in this matter.
