Tight End University: A Summit of Community and Connection

Nashville – Tight End University, or TEU, is unlike typical pro sports events. It unfolds over three days, focusing more on community-building than just on-field action.

This past Monday night, the Nashville gathering showcased its familial spirit. TEU was founded in 2021 by tight end stars like Travis Kelce, George Kittle, and Carolina Panthers legend, Greg Olsen. What began with about 50 players has attracted an increasing number of participants, drawing in families and friends who want to join the fun in Music City.

A notable attendee was the music icon Taylor Swift, showing support for her boyfriend Kelsey. On that Monday night, she mingled with other NFL families, building friendships and enjoying the TEU welcome party, all while savoring this offseason summit before the regular season kicks off.

Olsen shared with Fox News Digital about the significance of having supportive figures like his wife, Kara, Swift, and Claire Kittle present in Nashville. “I think one of the cooler elements of the event is the family camaraderie,” he noted. “It’s exciting to see familiar faces that came five years ago, perhaps as singles or couples.”

“We’ve all grown together on the field, and now we have the chance to bond more personally—with our wives, kids, and parents as part of the larger picture.” He highlighted how children of both past and present players were playing at Vanderbilt University alongside some of the top tight ends.

“This is a place where new relationships can blossom. You can exchange ideas, gain fresh perspectives, and pick up new strategies,” Olsen continued. “Each athlete interprets the game in their own way, and there’s so much to learn just by observing conversations.”

New Denver Bronco Evan Engram added his thoughts, emphasizing the shared knowledge among players.

TEU founder, Peter Raskin, has witnessed the event’s growth from a business perspective. He mentioned the involvement of not just players but also their partners, noting that over 50 significant others joined the 80 players in attendance. “It’s fascinating to see everyone engaged in relaxing activities at the Thompson Hotel—like facials, massages, and brunch outings,” Raskin recalled.

These gatherings not only help players focus but also create a unique experience for their families. As Olsen pointed out, “This three-day break allows couples to reconnect, making the event even more meaningful.” Claire Kittle has become a central figure in welcoming attendees to Nashville, ensuring everyone has an unforgettable time.
