'The Simpsons' Appears to Eliminate Marge Simpson

The Simpsons Kills Off Marge Simpson in Season 36 Finale

In a surprising turn, “The Simpsons” has reportedly written off Chief Marge Simpson in the season 36 finale titled “Estranger Things.”

The episode features a flashforward scene where Marge looks down from the clouds of heaven, observing her family. It seems that the relationship between Bart and Lisa has deteriorated, and Marge realizes that she’s become estranged from them, even 35 years after her passing. A poignant moment showcases Homer mourning on Marge’s grave. Adding to the shock, reports indicate that Marge has a romantic interest in a well-known figure in heaven.

Clips from the finale illustrate significant developments in the characters’ lives. Bart runs an unlicensed nursing home housing Homer, while Lisa has become an NBA commissioner, financially supporting Homer. However, complications arise when senior protective services aim to relocate Homer to Florida.

During the unfolding drama, Lisa discovers an old video of her mother, which features Marge urging Bart and Lisa to always support one another. This moment prompts the siblings to reconnect and take action to save their father.

Ultimately, Bart and Lisa manage to bring Homer back home, and the three watch the “Itching and Scratch Show” together, with Marge looking on affectionately. “I’m so happy that my kids are nearby again,” she expresses.

The story escalates further when a familiar figure makes an appearance, joking about their late arrival to an event in heaven. “Love, we’re late to Buffett in Heaven. We have a shrimp tower,” he quips.

Marge responds warmly, saying, “It’s okay, Apple. I’m so happy you’re allowed to marry different people in heaven,” as she settles comfortably next to the famous musician.
