Nashville Concert Features Taylor Swift for NFL’s Tight End University

Nashville witnessed quite an event on Tuesday night, as Taylor Swift graced the stage to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, along with other NFL tight ends. The occasion? The Friends Benefit Concert held at the Brooklyn Bowl, part of the Tight End University (TEU) summer training camp.

Before Swift took to the stage, Kane Brown introduced her, and from what I’ve heard, the crowd really got excited. “She was just incredible. The venue probably had around 1,000 people,” said George Kittle, co-founder of TEU and a tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, speaking with enthusiasm about the performance. “It was definitely a memorable night. Everyone seemed to have a great time.”

Kittle, who co-founded TEU with Kelce, mentioned that former NFL star Greg Olsen praised Swift for her participation. “She couldn’t have been nicer. And when she sang ‘Shake It Off,’ it seemed like everyone was fully engaged,” Kittle added, with a chuckle.

The concert aimed to benefit various charities chosen by the event’s founders and had a successful run last year. There was talk of topping last year’s performance where artists like Jelly Roll and Chase Rice had wowed the audience. Kittle pointed out that they wanted to make this year’s show even bigger.

Olsen echoed this excitement, mentioning the buzz surrounding upcoming appearances. “I thought it’d be a great idea to invite some country music stars to join us. Taylor’s inclusion made it extra special,” he shared.

With past events raising $800,000 and $900,000 respectively, the team is hopeful for even greater success this time around.

In casual conversation among Kittle, Olsen, and their spouses, it seems Swift’s potential to perform had everyone a bit giddy. The excitement was palpable, as they discussed the possibility of her singing with other artists like Jordan Davis during the night.
