Katy Perry almost tumbles from a floating sphere during her concert

Katy Perry had a frightening moment during her “lifetime” tour in Australia when a malfunction almost caused her to fall from a suspended metal platform.

This incident, captured on video and shared online, shows the “Teenage Dream” singer gripping the bar of the setup while performing at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Monday night, trying to maintain her balance as the stage went dark and crew members rushed to assist.

A fan who posted the video expressed their fear, saying, “I was really scared.” Another fan mentioned that she eventually jumped down safely with help from security.

It took some time for the crew to resolve the issue, and observers noted that Katy seemed a bit shaken throughout her performance of “Nirvana” from her “143” album.

“It could’ve been really bad, but she was safe when it went down,” someone else commented, echoing the relief felt by many that the 40-year-old singer was okay.

Earlier in April, Perry kicked off this sci-fi-themed tour, inspired by films like “The Fifth Element,” which was notably held in Mexico City.

Some fans have been critical of her performance choices lately, calling for changes in her choreography. In response, she defended her artistic decisions on her fan page, stating, “I can stay true to myself.”

Amidst all this, she’s also navigating a split from Orlando Bloom after ten years together. An insider revealed that the couple, who shares a four-year-old daughter named Daisy, has been having difficulties in their relationship.
