19-Year-Old Faces 40 Criminal Charges for Assaulting Mother and Daughter

A 19-year-old man is facing 40 criminal charges in connection with multiple incidents, including allegations of rape involving both his mother and his daughter in Ohio. The defendant, Doyral Wynn, was indicted by a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury, as detailed in a statement from the county’s prosecutor, Michael O’Malley.

According to the charges, Wynn is accused of sexually assaulting his 37-year-old mother and 19-year-old daughter on May 2, 2024. The assault occurred in East Cleveland as they walked home after visiting a local store. At the time, Wynn was dressed in black and armed with a gun, instructing them to put their belongings in their bags.

Wynn allegedly forced them into a nearby field where he assaulted them before firing two shots into the air, telling them to run away. The victims reported the incident to a hospital, and police later found two shell casings at the scene.

Wynn is also a suspect in a shooting incident from March, in which a man reported that Wynn fired shots at his vehicle while driving with his family. Fortunately, no one was injured in that incident.

After conducting a search of Wynn’s residence in Cleveland, authorities discovered seven firearms stored in safes. Wynn was arrested shortly afterward and found in possession of a firearm linked to both the assault and the earlier shooting.

Interestingly, this firearm had been reported missing two years prior. Prosecutors have indicated they possess not only evidence related to the firearms but also DNA evidence and witness statements to support the case against Wynn.

His charges include seven counts of rape, four counts of robbery, two counts of serious sexual imposition, four counts of felony assault, along with numerous firearm-related charges. This complex and troubling case continues to unfold, leaving many questions hanging in the air about Wynn’s actions and the broader implications for community safety.
