18-year-old TikTok star shot and killed at New Jersey beach, with two men charged in connection with the murder.

Christopher A. White, a well-known TikTok influencer with over 100,000 followers, was tragically shot in New Jersey Beach last month at just 18 years old.

Authorities have arrested two individuals related to the incident. A press release from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed this.

One suspect, whose identity is kept confidential due to their age, is currently facing murder charges at a juvenile facility.

Dwayne Evilas, another 18-year-old, has been charged with multiple offenses, including conspiracy related to illegal possession of a weapon.

Police arrived at Pier Village, Long Branch, after receiving reports of a shooting at 8:58 PM on June 12. White was found with a gunshot wound.

Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

Earlier that day, White, who went by the username hi.imchrys, posted a couple of videos on social media.

In one, he advised a follower to “Leave away from ppl who ignores you until they need you.” In another, he shared a clip from the beach where he was later killed, tagging it #LongBranch. This video turned out to be his last, showing him relaxing in a chair.

Beyond his social media fame, White was also a student-athlete at Woodbridge High School, participating in football and wrestling.

His former football coach, Joseph Lasala, reflected on White’s character, saying, “He brought energy and enthusiasm every day.” Lasala described him as respectful and focused, expressing deep sorrow at the loss.

White’s best friend, Jaden Roche, started a GoFundMe campaign for funeral expenses, which has already raised over $16,000.

Roche expressed the impact of this tragedy, stating, “He meant so much to everyone… this still seems like a dream.”
