ICE Arrests Illegal Alien Sex Offenders in Minneapolis
Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently apprehended multiple illegal alien pedophiles and sex offenders in Minneapolis, as detailed in a press release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Wednesday.
This operation took place between June 6th and June 11th, 2025.
“Under Tim Waltz’s leadership, these individuals have roamed freely in Minneapolis, endangering American children,” stated DHS in the release.
Several Lao nationals were among those arrested. Pao Angelo Vang was apprehended on June 6th and has a conviction for second-degree sexual assault against a child. Thong Lao was arrested on the same day as well.
Van, also a Lao national, has been convicted of first-degree sexual assault, while Xiong Pao Vang faced charges related to perverted behavior with a child under 14.
On that same day, ICE took Yia Xiong into custody for the third time due to criminal sexual conduct. Shortly thereafter, Pock Vee was arrested, having been convicted of four separate criminal sexual acts.
Other Lao illegal aliens arrested faced charges across various degrees of sexual conduct.
Tou Pao Lee, an illegal Thai alien, was also apprehended during these operations and has a conviction for soliciting minors, while Yee Shae, another illegal Thai alien, was found guilty of sexually abusing minors.
“These offenders are a blight on our communities, and our dedicated ICE agents put their lives at risk to apprehend and remove them,” DHS Deputy Director Tricia McLaughlin remarked, criticizing Governor Tim Waltz for his sanctuary policies that allowed such offenders to operate freely.
“Rather than likening ICE to Nazis, Governor Waltz should appreciate the removal of these dangerous individuals from Minnesota,” she added.
ICE has conducted similar arrests nationwide, targeting individuals convicted of serious crimes, including murder, sexual assault, drug trafficking, and aggravated assault.
Former Trump official Tom Homan indicated this week that he plans to intensify efforts in sanctuary cities.
