Dennis Richards’ reality show won’t be returning for a second season on Bravo, following the news of her split from husband Aaron Phipers.
The series, “Denise Richards and Her Wild Things,” was initially intended to be a one-season venture, as an insider confirmed to TMZ on Wednesday.
Bravo reportedly does not plan to film any follow-up coverage of Richards and Phipers’ separation.
However, there’s a chance Richards might make an appearance on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” a show she previously starred in during seasons 9 and 10, with a brief return later.
Her show debuted on Bravo in March, focusing on her life as an actress and a mother to three daughters: Sami Sheen, 21, Laura Sheen, 20, and Eloise Richards, 13.
In an earlier episode, Richards and Phipers jokingly vowed they wouldn’t get divorced, even if they found themselves at odds. “Marriage to me is not easy,” she reflected. Phipers chimed in, agreeing to the difficulties, but also insisting, “But this is it. I’m done.”
On Monday, it was reported that the couple has officially separated after six years of marriage. Phipers filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” and noting that they separated on July 4.
He is seeking spousal support from Richards and the division of their business, Smoke & Mirrors Entertainment. So far, neither party has publicly commented on the details of their breakup.
