Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner at Fenway Park
Ben Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner were spotted enjoying the evening at Fenway Park during a Red Sox game on Friday. They were there to cheer on their two youngest children, Samuel and Seraphina.
In a video clip shared by MLB, Affleck, wearing a green cap and plaid shirt, was seen chatting with Garner, who sported a striped tee and a casual ponytail. The couple sat close to their kids, ages 13 and 16, soaking up the summer atmosphere at the iconic baseball venue.
The MLB’s caption read, “Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are sitting in the front row of Fenway tonight!” Fans quickly took to the comments to express their thoughts and confusion regarding the pair’s relationship status. One person wondered aloud if they had reconciled, while another quipped about someone who doesn’t enjoy a good baseball game. Comments ranged from suggestions that they make a cute couple to calls for a reconciliation.
Affleck and Garner, who divorced in 2018, share a warm co-parenting relationship, also raising their 19-year-old daughter, Violet. They first split in 2015 after ten years of marriage. Despite their romantic history, they seem to enjoy collaborating on parenting, as evidenced by their participation in events like Samuel’s paintball birthday celebration earlier this year.
Affleck expressed his gratitude for having a good co-parent in Garner, noting in a GQ interview that public speculation about their family was often more of a hassle than anything else. Meanwhile, both have moved on; Affleck recently concluded his marriage to pop star Jennifer Lopez, while Garner has been seen with her on-and-off boyfriend, John Miller.
