Trump Supports Bondi Despite Criticism of Epstein File Management

President Donald Trump expressed his support for Attorney General Pam Bondy amid disagreements within the Trump administration regarding the handling of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump questioned the motives of those criticizing Bondy, stating that she “does a great job.” He also raised queries about why Democrats focus on files from former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton while not disclosing Epstein’s documents.

“What’s happening with my ‘boy’ and sometimes ‘gal’? They’re all after Attorney General Pam Bondy, who really does a great job! We have a solid situation, yet there are “selfish people” trying to undermine it,” Trump said.

He added, “Why is Epstein always in the spotlight? Why promote files written by Obama, crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and Biden’s team? Have you enchanted the world with the endless Russia controversies and those so-called ‘laptop from hell’ stories?”

“They fabricated the Epstein files, just as they created the fake dossier against Hillary Clinton that they used against me. If there were damaging Epstein files, why didn’t these radical leftists reveal them? They have a history of targeting figures like John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.,” Trump continued.

He emphasized that FBI director Kash Patel and the FBI should prioritize investigating voter fraud and political corruption.

Trump insisted, “Let Pam Bondi do her job – she’s incredible!”

This statement comes amid reports of a rift between FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino and Bondy regarding the management of Epstein’s case files.

Mary Margaret Orohan from Daily Wire posted on X, suggesting that the conflict involves Bongino’s caution about keeping matters within the Department of Justice and away from the FBI.

Reports indicate that Bongino and Bondi disagreed following the DOJ and FBI’s conclusion that Epstein committed suicide, and a memo indicated there was no evidence of a client list.

During a cabinet meeting, reporters questioned Bondy about findings related to the Epstein case and the missing video footage from the night of his death.

Trump noted that more pressing issues are overshadowing the Epstein discussion, expressing disbelief at the questions being asked about Epstein at such a critical time. “I mean, I can’t believe I’m being asked about Epstein with everything else going on. There’s significant tragedy happening in Texas right now,” he remarked.

In response to those questions, Bondy elaborated during a February interview, mentioning that she was reviewing Epstein’s client list and discussed files related to him. “First, to clarify, in my Fox interview from February, I mentioned it was gaining significant attention… When discussing my client list, I referred to files I was reviewing on my desk. Additionally, it’s important to note that thousands of videos involving child porn connected to Jeffrey Epstein will never see the light of day,” she said.
