Kelly Osbourne Addresses Ozzy’s Health Rumors

Kelly Osbourne has pushed back against rumors suggesting that her father, Ozzy Osbourne, is “dying.” This follows her recent comments regarding a controversial agreement her mother, Sharon Osbourne, made concerning assisted suicide for the musician.

In an Instagram story on Friday, the former “Fashion Police” star responded to misleading AI-generated videos that falsely portray her father’s condition, stating that they claim he would soon “die.”

“They use voices that sound like my dad, or even David Attenborough, starting with lines like, ‘I don’t need a doctor to tell me I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die,’” Kelly expressed.

She was quite candid with her frustration, saying, “What’s wrong with you people? Why do you waste your time making videos like this?” She emphasized that while Ozzy, 76, is battling Parkinson’s disease—which has significantly impacted his mobility—he is not on the brink of death.

“What’s the issue here?” she added, clearly exasperated. Kelly acknowledged her father’s health struggles but clarified, “Yes, he has Parkinson’s. Yes, his mobility isn’t what it used to be, but he isn’t dying.”

The conversation about the suicide agreement first surfaced during a podcast episode with Sharon in October 2023, where she opened up about plans to seek assisted suicide in Switzerland through a medical provider. Kelly reflected on her mother’s disclosure, calling it “a bunch of bull,” and remarked that she believed it was meant to attract attention.

In a past interview, Sharon has discussed the concept of euthanasia, stating her family supports it fully, highlighting a complex and emotional perspective on the subject.

In 2019, Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and has undergone surgeries that were termed “life-changing” regarding his neck and back. Just recently, he reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for a farewell concert, expressing his desire to perform again, ideally without falling.
