Ana Navarro Criticizes Trump for Suggesting to Take Away Rosie O'Donnell's U.S. Citizenship: “This Is Not North Korea”

Anna Navarro Supports Rosie O’Donnell Amid Trump’s Citizenship Threat

Anna Navarro came to Rosie O’Donnell’s defense after President Donald Trump hinted over the weekend that he might revoke her US citizenship.

During today’s episode of The View, Navarro challenged Trump to “choose a fight” with O’Donnell, emphasizing, “This isn’t North Korea or a monarchy.” She pointed out that Trump has no power to unilaterally take anyone’s citizenship away.

She elaborated, saying, “Rosie O’Donnell was born a US citizen on Long Island in 1962. There are very few circumstances—like treason or insurrection—where someone could lose their citizenship. So if anyone should be cautious, it’s not Rosie.”

Trump had escalated his ongoing feud with the comedian by labeling her a “threat to humanity” and suggesting she was “seriously considering” giving up her citizenship. He even commented on O’Donnell’s recent move to Ireland, saying she could stay there as long as she wanted.

In response, O’Donnell hit back on Instagram, noting, “The President has always despised that I’m confronting who he really is—a criminal who exploits others and undermines our country, which is why I moved to Ireland.”

She added, “So are millions of others. Are you going to deport everyone who opposes your toxic behavior?”

This feud isn’t new; it’s been simmering for nearly two decades. O’Donnell first took aim at Trump back in 2006 while co-hosting The View, calling him a “snake oil salesman.” Since then, they’ve exchanged barbs, with Trump dismissing O’Donnell as a “loser” and even using more derogatory terms.

The View airs weekdays on ABC, with new episodes starting November 10th.
