The MLB All-Star break kicked off yesterday with Callowy from Seattle triumphing in the home run derby, hitting 18 homers in the final round. Tonight, the midsummer classic takes center stage.
Scheduled to start at 8 PM, the 2025 MLB All-Star Game will showcase some of the brightest talents in baseball. The starting position players for both the National and American Leagues were decided by fan voting, featuring representatives from both New York teams.
Aaron Judge from the AL will take his place in right field, while Francis Colindoor of the Mets is set to make his All-Star debut at shortstop. But they’re not alone; Jazz Chisholm Jr., Max Fried, and Carlos Rodon also earned All-Star honors from the Yankees, while Mets players like Pete Alonso, Edwin Diaz, and David Peterson represent Queens in Atlanta.
The American League team will be managed by Yankees’ Aaron Boone, while Dodgers’ Dave Roberts will lead the National League squad.
