Rosie O’Donnell recently shared her feelings about President Donald Trump’s time in office, recalling how emotional she felt when she believed he was going to win again. “It was one of the most depressing days I ever remember,” she stated.
In a social media video, O’Donnell sarcastically suggested that Trump might be suffering from cognitive issues, calling it “temporary frontal dementia.” She highlighted his recent behavior as indicative of someone in distress, saying, “I think the guy is in that pain.”
She also compared Trump to President Biden, suggesting that neither should serve as commander-in-chief due to potential cognitive decline, stating, “Biden had lost the marble,” and criticizing Democrats for attempting to shield him from scrutiny.
“It was one of the most melancholy days I can remember,” O’Donnell added. She recounted a discussion where she started to cry during a conversation about Trump’s ambitions, saying he was determined to win again.
She expressed embarrassment over Democrats who were defending Biden, commenting, “I was ashamed.” O’Donnell questioned the logic of having aging leaders, asking, “What is the appeal of our country running these almost eighth-century worlds?”
Interestingly, O’Donnell frequently mentions Trump in her videos while in Ireland. Over the weekend, she warned him that people would be “afraid” of him, noting her experiences as a queer woman and referring to a social media post suggesting he was serious about revoking her citizenship.
